Spamihilator - антиспам-фильтр, проверяющий и удаляющий нежелательную почту перед ее приемом почтовым клиентом. Spamihilator совместим с большинством программами для работы с почтой - Outlook Express, Eudora, IncrediMail, Pegasus Mail, The Bat! и другие), поддерживает почтовые протоколы POP3 и IMAP, может работать через защищенное SSL-соединение...

Программа сортирует почту, используя обычный словарный фильтр (т.е. блокирует письма с определенными словами), а также черный и белый список адресатов. Кроме этого, имеется самообучаемый алгоритм работы, определяющий спам по всей структуре письма.

В Spamihilator поддерживается установка плагинов, с помощью которых можно использовать дополнительные фильтры входящей корреспонденции, а также добавлять новые функции (статистика, уведомление о поступлении новой почты и т.п.).

После инсталляции язык интерфейса - английский и немецкий, но можно установить и другие языки интерфейса, включая русский (пакет языковой поддержки уже в комплекте ).

Spamihilator works between your Email-Client-Software and the Internet and examines every incoming eMail. Useless spam mails (Junk) will be filtered out. This process works completely in the background.

The new Learning Filter (Bayesian Filter) uses the rules of Thomas Bayes (english mathematician, 18th century) and calculates a certain Spam-Probability for every eMail. You can train this filter! So it will know your messages even better than you and continuously increase the recognition rate.

In addition Spamihilator uses a Word-Filter, that searches messages for known keywords.

Of course, Spamihilator supports Plugins. These useful additional filters protect your system against annoying Spam-Messages.

The program runs with almost every Email-Software, such as Outlook 2000/XP/Express, Eudora, Mozilla, Netscape, IncrediMail, Pegasus Mail, Phoenix Mail, Opera, etc...

The new Spamihilator version 0.9.9.42 has just been released. This version fixes a few minor bugs. Installing the new version is recommended for all users.

Spamihilator 0.9.9.42 also includes a new filter, which searches incoming messages for links to spam websites! The so-called Link Filter is able to learn! Please use the Training Area frequently to make sure the filter’s recognition rate stays at a high level. More information about the Link Filter can be found in the Spamihilator Wiki.

• The performance of the Training Area and the Recycle Bin has been increased (especially when displaying more than 1000 messages).
